BREAKING NEWS
Today, i.e. 31st October, 2007 at 8:04:54 pm(PST - Pacific Standard Time) {08:33 am IST} there was a earthquake of 5.6 Mw (regional moment magnitude). The effect was so heavy that it was felt to be of around 8 earthquake richter scale. USGS (U.S. Geological Survey, Earthquake Hazards Program) has released a handbook on Earthquake Preparedness (source listed below). USGS said that there are no report of any damage or casualties.

On 26th Oct, around 2k guitarist will gather at Shillong (the capital of Meghalaya), to witness the ‘largest guitar ensemble’. This will be an attempt to enter the Guinness book of world record, of most number of guitarist performing together.
Meghalaya Tourist Development Forum ( MTDF) has organized this event. It’s vice chairman Larsing M said,
“Our attempt shall be 2,000 plus guitarists performing Bob Dylan’s Knocking on Heaven’s Door. The guitarists will be from all over Meghalaya, the Northeast and will include tourists,”

Latest news from the World of Technology.Micorsoft has started to deviate from its earlier stand that it will not allow piracy.News is that IE7(Internet Explorer V7.0) has been made available to users running pirated versions of Windows.Initially the Microsoft people used to run a ‘Genuine-version’ check in the system before installing its software.It is known as WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage).If the PC had a original version of the software,the software install went through.But if it was pirated ,the instal would not take place.

On 22 May 2007, I was traveling from New York to San Jose, CA with a flight change at Los Angeles, CA through United Airlines. I took the boarding pass for both the sector from New York itself. On the second sector (UA6519) from Los Angeles to San Jose a strange incident happened. I was seated at the allotted seat i.e. 11A. You can have a look at my boarding pass below:
