Nishabd Poster The only thought I had in mind after seeing the movie was that none other than RGV can make Nishabd. Based on a controversial Bengali novel Aparajita (not sure) Nishabd is a love story of a man and his daughter’s best friend.

Let me tell you Nishabd is not a movie to be watched with friends after your last exam, nor is a Sunday evening movie with a family. The movie is not an entertainment. The movie takes you on a strange journey showing some rare but existing human feelings. The movie tells that though human can go old in his health but his emotions always remain young.

The movie starts with a photographer Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) family with the daughter coming home for vacations with her best friend Jiya Khan (Jiya). As days pass, the closeness and togetherness of Vijay and Jiya increases and they fall in love. The movie as expected ends in a sad manner giving Vijay the pain of lifetime.

The movie does not have a very hapenning story. Bachchan once again proves himself the pioneer of acting. Just not agreeing to the concept shown in the movie has made Nishabd a flop. But according to the me, Nishabd deserves a best film nomination this year. 4 out of 5 star.
