A giant taking over another giant !!!!!

Microsoft’s bids to buy yahoo for a whopping $44.6 billion. By this Microsoft and yahoo will compete with their common rivals “GOOGLE”. Google captures almost 56% of the US market leaving Microsoft and yahoo with 44%. If this deals cracks then it is expected that both the companies will take over Google’s search engine market. Microsoft recently bought the Calista technologies, a company owned by a Indian techie.

This deal will be the largest takeovers in the IT industry beating AOL’s take over recently. These companies are largely targeting the Indian market.

But now it might happen that you download a yahoo software that is freely available on net and when you install it you will be asked for windows genuine, a Microsoft’s old habit. Nearly 75 to 80% people use the pirated version of windows, so this may create a problem for some users in using some of the free services.

Few months back Google and yahoo had started and combined search engine, but that hardly worked its way.
