Mobile TV From BSNL…

For the first time, BSNL customers in Andhra Pradesh (in India) can view the TV on their cellphones. BSNL offers them around dozens of channels to choose from. With the launch of mobile TV, BSNL have kept themselves abreast of the latest development around the globe.
BSNL introduced this service in Hyderabad (for the first time in South India) on tuesday (early this week) and have called it, “TV on Mobile” service. At present BSNL have three subscription plans, i.e Rs. 10 for each channel per day, and again a single channel per month cost you Rs. 50, and if you go for all 12 channels for entire month it costs you just Rs. 150. Also as an introductory offer BSNL will provide the service for free for first month. Apart from news channel, it also have regional and entertainment channels.
Apaya Technologies have helped BSNL to beam the content on to the BSNL subscribers via GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) and EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution) technologies..
For subscriber to be able to view the video, it should first download the software “mimobi.tv” from http://59.162.166.210.8080/OTA/DownloadMimobiTV after subscribing to the service by messaging “MYTV” to 55447.

mobile tv is dream shown by bsnl
practically it is very difficult for bsnl.
First it should improve its gprs services then offer the related services.
very poor response of bsnl call centers.
