Ya! the title is correct, I am talking of the efficient way to use a double click, just as you perform normal double click (with left mouse key), you can put the double right click to a good use. Let’s see how?

Here comes a new software named as “Click Zap” which enables us to assign a action to the double right click on native Windows XP. Click Zap helps to establish following actions to the mouse’s right double click.

List of actions:Click Zap Action List

  • Lock Computer
  • Log Off Computer
  • Shutdown Computer
  • Minimize Active Window
  • Minimize All Windows
  • Close Active Window
  • Close All Windows
  • Mute Sound

ClickZap calls the double right click activity as multi-right click, so be careful while setting the actions.

Once you download (<- direct download link) the ClickZap, it sets the “Lock Computer as a default action, but can later change it to suit your needs. As for my personal need I would prefer to set action as minimize active window or “mute sound” in case i don’t have easy access to speakers.

Although ClickZap stand as great tool to put mouse to full use, but it would be better if you can think of using third mouse button (wheel or middle button) also to this sort of better use.
