Jaago Nau-Jawan! (Video On Indian Freedom Fighters)
When I was about 10 years old,I used to watch this serial on DDTv about Bhagat Singh and other freedom fighters.I was deeply inspired by the lives of these great men.Back then,I didn’t know much about political idealogies, but yes Bhagat Singh,Chandrashekhar Azad,Rajguru,Batukeshwar Dutt,Sukhdev, were my heroes.
Sometime later we had these chapters on Indian Revolutionary movement in the Subject of History. That was one of my favourite chapters.
Bhagat Singh, the lad from Punjab sacrificed his life at the age of 24 for the nation.Chandrashekhar Azad also known as Panditji, was almost a ‘Mythological’ personality.Heavy built and having conviction in thoughts,he was like a ‘Wall’ which could never be broken. He used to always say ‘Hum Jiye Hain Azad, aur marenge bhi Azad’ (Free has been my life, and so shall my death be) . I have read it many times(don’t know if it’s true) that he used to keep a bullet in his Jacket. He used this very bullet to shoot himself when he found no hope of escaping at a Police Encounter.
When I was in my Tenth Grade(15 years old) the movie ‘The Legend Of Bhagat Singh’ (Starring Ajay Devgan as Bhagat Singh) was released. It was surrounded by lots of controversies regarding other Leaders and their influence on Singh’s death.Though its said that it was hyped a lot,I still loved the movie .Last year,’Rang De Basanti’ was released, which deeply inspired the Indian Youth.
We attained Independence 60 years ago.But still we aren’t what we wanted to be.Many sacrificed their lives to make India Independent. Those were the great men and women who wanted to see a better India.Ask YOURSELF,are we there yet?
Our nation presently is full of ‘ Hypocrites ‘ who feel very ‘Patriotic’ about their country. That feeling lasts few months after movies like RDB or TLOBS are released. If YOU are not one amongst them, then inculcate this feeling inside your mind that you will strive hard to make India a Super-Power very soon. And mind you,super-power does not mean a nation with a strong Political or Military influence alone. We need to eradicate problems like poverty, illiteracy also. Lets set the Vision 2020 for our country. Jaago Nau-Jawan!

nice thought
but what about the pre-thinking about the politicians..?
todays youth think that ‘Politics is a Dirty Game’
now still you think 2020 ka dream will come true on time…?
Anoop | Nov 16, 2007 | Reply
Yes,’Politics is a dirty game’.Even I agree to it.A recent example is of the Left-Parties opposing ‘Good Old N-Deal’ with so many stupid reasons. These very ‘Left-Oriented’ parties have Governments in states like West-Bengal where they promote Capitalism. This ambiloquent stance is a clear example that ‘Politics is Dirty’.In support of your statement I would like to state that yes,Countries like ‘China’ have progressed due to ‘Ambitious’ governments which led the progress.
But I don’t think ‘Politics’ is the only field on which we need to score. We as students can work hard in our fields. We can become the driving-force for our nation’s progress.
As far as able-leaders are concerned,we will surely get them. After all it was none other than our former President Mr. APJ Azad who set the dream 2020 as a vision for us.
Let the ‘Politicians’ rip the country off.Atleast we ,as the youth can try to stitch it back!

Saying that “N-Deal” was good, I really don’t agree on it….
no doubt N-deal will lead to development in India, but what about the flaws, what about amount of waste generated through it etc…..also if you focus on other aspects of society you will find N-deal is not the only way to lead India to development, there are many other ways…..just one need to realize them…

the argument is not whether the N-Deal is good or not.I am pro-N Deal, you may not be.But the point is,is it valid for these Left-Leaning politicians to simply oppose something because their Idealogy (communism) says so.Think over this..The Chinese Government, the biggest institution on this planet which runs on the Communist Idealogy has adopted some ammendments. They have granted permissions to companies to set-up industries in China to boost the national growth. And I am not talking about something which is happening now, this policy has been followed since so many years. Now thats a clear violation of the communist idealogy that too for the national interests….think over…

yes, friends
i agree we student or we Indian citizens may have potential to boost up the economy
but then in final setup, when our invention or idea comes infront of government officials, what you think will they allow you to setup the industry for large scale production
everyone knows the answer in Heart..

And about the up growing China
i agree their officials allows industrial growth, we may say blindly allows.. but what someone told you to buy lets say skin-touch mobile worth Rs.8k(say) but made in China, what will you think to buy them huh??
My actual point is
to be Number. 1 we have to be perfect from inside. And thats the reason I dont think the dream of our freedom fighter of successful INDIA will ever come true.
Not only because of the Politics played in every field but because of everything going around us. We saw policemen taking bribe in fact if in certain case we are faulty, we readily offer money.. thats the fact ..
at every footstep we INDIAN crashing THE DREAM OF SUCCESSFUL INDIA
and SUCCESSFUL INDIA doesn’t means that we stand number.1 everywhere. But actually Successful India is the India people not have starve to feed their children , it will have free education and not privatization where common man has to suffer..
Being No. 1 is easy. But being satisfied is very hard..

hey anoop… i don’t think that the youth have lost patriotism in them…. a very fine example is the cricket match…
when ever there is a cricket match against INDIA.. the first one to cheer INDIA are the youth…
whenever someone makes INDIA proud we also feel equally proud about it…..
