Hey Guys,

Latest news from the World of Technology.Micorsoft has started to deviate from its earlier stand that it will not allow piracy.News is that IE7(Internet Explorer V7.0) has been made available to users running pirated versions of Windows.Initially the Microsoft people used to run a ‘Genuine-version’ check in the system before installing its software. It is known as WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage). If the PC had a original version of the software, the software install went through. But if it was pirated ,the instal would not take place.

Now,from this latest news,we can easily say that Microsoft has learnt some bitter lessons. It will not restrict its stuff to its payed users alone. Now this comes as a bit surprise, compared to MS’s 2006 statement which said that rights to IE7 were only fro genuine users.

Yes,yes,Microsoft is facing lots of competition these days. This seems to be one of its strategy to re-launch itself on the floor again.
