India is the great country from ancient time. We have got great Epics like Mahabharata, Ramayana, etc. But there are many facts about India from history which many of us never heard.
India never conquered any country in it last 10,000 years of history. Number system was invented by INDIA. Zero was invented by Aryabhatta.
- Sanskrit is the mother of all the European languages. For example : ‘Bhatra’ in Sanskrit means ‘brother’ in English.
- Even though todays India often show poverty and lack of development, but India was the richest country in the world till the British invasion in India in 17th Century.
- Ayurveda is the earliest school of medicine known to Human. Charaka, the father of medicine compacted Ayurveda 2500 years ago.
- The time taken by the earth to orbit around the sun was calculated by Bhaskaracharya hundreds of years ago before the astronomer Smart.
- According to the Gemological Institute of America, until 1896, India
was the only producer of the diamond in the world.
- Chess (Shatranj or AshtaPada) was invented in India.
- When many cultures were only nomadic forest dwellers over 5000 years ago, Indians established Harappan culture in Sindhu Valley (Indus Valley Civilization).
- USA based IEEE has proved what has been a century-old suspicion in the world scientific community that the pioneer of Wireless communication was Prof. Jagdeesh Bose and not Marconi.

What difference does it make,even if they observe peace today??
Tell me,will that prevent a bomb from exploding in the busy streets of IRAQ.Will that prevent some terrorist from Bleeding Kashmir?Will that prevent the Big-Brother US from planning its next move in the Middle-East?

As i thought, everyone know that 2nd October is Gandhi jayanti.. But does u know that 2nd October is lal Bahadur Shastri’s b’day also. He was our PM. I feel because of our media or by some other mean, we only promote CONGRESS. Do u know when is the b’day of Ataji ? Atalji, who made India in position in N-power.. there are many more in list.
we remember GAndhiji as FATHER OF NATION, but i feel that he was aware of Chanaykya Niti.. When two childern fights, father has to interfere to solve the problem.. But Mahatma Gandhi is the FATHER OF NATION INDIA(we know what i mean to say)..
