Recent reports, from Times Of India, states that
“For the first time since Independence, employment has grown at a faster rate than population during a five-year period between 2000 and 2005.”
The above statement may prove a point of relief for government and many others, but it will remain only for short while. Further in the report Times Of India states that, despite the growth in the jobs, theres is huge growth in unemployment. You can read out complete report of Subodh Varma at TOI.
