Microsoft making Boomerang : oPhone
3
Hey people… Do You know that a great IT company may soon end up becoming a silly toy company? The company I’m
talking about is IT giant Microsoft! In a bid to compete with Apple Microsoft is making a BOOMERANG!!!!
Yes, friends its true! Microsoft is making Boomerang…. Just to compete with Apple’s latest product iPhone, Microsoft has come up with a funky looking phone called oPhone, well will the O phone end up like its symbol 0???
Microsoft couldn’t even think of an innovative name for their latest phone, they just changed the, I to O. And guys guess how they define their oPhone….
INNOVATION, ORIGINALITY, REVOLUTION
Can u tell me what do these words have in common? Its O….oh!!! oh!!!!!!! oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! isn’t that funny?
Well I think rather than being Innovative, Microsoft has simply Imitated a product actually Innovated, Originated and Revolutionized by Apple.
But as they say a copy will always be a copy and can never compete with the original, frankly speaking oPhone’s features are no where close to the features offered by Apple’s iPhone….
Microsoft’s launching oPhone seems like yet another business gimmick to snatch the consumer’s attention from an iPhone
to the oPhone. Rather than making their marketing professional’s work overtime it would be helpful if Microsoft makes their technical and software professional’s work a little harder and devise an Orignal and Innovative product.
Thats a Big fight…. Microsoft laughs at iPhone because they would be releasing their new phone similar to iPhone i.e. oPhone… o!! o!!!! o!!!!!
Really speaking that looks very ugly. The ugliest phone I’ve ever seen… Just have a look on some pictures of oPhone and comment how ugly it looks. A 3 layer curvy keypad topped with a circular screen. The text on the screen is difficult to read because you need to rotate your phone to read a message on it, which doesn’t make it user friendly. There are 3 layers one below the other which can open around as a boomerang. One keypad consist of a whole keyboard, one for music control with a few buttons including a wheel control and other is a number pad. The only feature is you can position your key wherever you like but thats really not a required feature to anyone.
Microsoft comments on their video “This is more than thinking outside the box, we are nowhere near the box”. We guys are not fools, can easily understand what a box means for Microsoft. For your information, the comment Box is a direct hit at Apple’s iPhone. “…..The box is on Saturn, Jupiter, whichever is far other way….”

They say programming iPhone is even simple…”Even a five year old can do it, in fact a four year old can do it…. you just need to draw circles instead of raw lines”… But see how confusing it is for a Microsoft’s employee to use oPhone… He’s searching which way he shoud hold an oPhone. “… this way up?? which way up???” Really confused, people please help him out! Or rather it seems Microsoft commissioned four-year-olds to devise and create an oPhone

Microsoft fooled themselves by releasing a funny video… must watch it… Click Here. 267
They just published it in a hurry just because Apple ’s iPhone officially was supposed to come in market on June 29th and they wanted to inform people, don’t worry we are also ready for it. But people I don’t think so. There is no official picture of oPhone provided by Microsoft. They just created a model and they don’t even know what would be its features. That is a market strategy!
Microsoft claims that oPhone will work also as a Boomerang, its aerodynamically correct and so even you can throw your phone out of the window if you don’t like it, but would again come back to you. See him throwing….well it seems that’s what Microsoft officials did after they got their hands on to Apple’s iPhone!!!

I would like to comment on Microsoft oPhone :
INNOVATION, ORIGINALITY, REVOLUTION
Do you guys know when these people first saw the oPhone what did they say? They said O!!! And I said O shee!!! By the way what would you say?

Jobs gets better at his job and Gates is running away from his own gate (MS)…

Thats a awesome info. Microsoft is never going to leave its copy-paste strategy. I am 100% sure that it cannot beat iphone in anyway.

i dont think that the design is that complex it will b fun 2 use such device by the way its features are still unknown so i cant say it is better than iphone or not.but hey after all its a microsoft product so there must be a something new, innovative, revolutionized and may be original also.

Answer for GURU’s Question:
Hi,
Thats sure that its not a normal dessign, something unusual… people have their own choice for design. someone like it and someone dont…
btw majority of the people think that MS does not do any kind of innovation. They could have researched on some new topic, why they choose oPhone.. just bec of iPhone. that 4 year kid can even recognize.. dont they have any new topic

I read your article about microsoft and I feel that it was right in many terms about the oPhone. I think the oPhone is not convienient as our usual iPhone. But I think you have taken side apple in all respects. You must have written the article with a neutral view.

There is no innovaton, originality or revolution in the oPhone. It is just to compete with iPhone. iPhone is reaaly cool.
